AMT delegates attended the ASEAN Consultation Meeting on the AVSSR: Governance and Vaccine Information Sharing on 10-11 July 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.

H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Health of Thailand, H.E. Mme. Hou Yanqi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN, and H.E. Ekkaphab Phanthavong, Deputy Secretary-General (DSG) of ASEAN for Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) delivered the event’s Opening remarks.

This project is a part of the activity of the ACCF-supported project. Under the Programme on Public Health Emergency Preparedness Capacity (PROMPT) titled “AVSSR through the ASEAN-China Cooperation Partnership 2022-2025”. Proponent: National Vaccine Institution, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand.  AMT Director delivered an “ACCF: Our Missions and Roles in ASEAN” session.

In addition to the event, AMT delegates also visited and had meetings with: i) the Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (DTAM), Ministry of Public Health, Thailand. And ii) Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand.
