The 24th ASEAN-China Joint Cooperation Committee (ACJCC) Meeting on 17 March 2023 at the ASEAN Secretariat.

ASEAN and China reaffirmed their commitment to advance their comprehensive strategic partnership at the 24th ASEAN-China Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) meeting held at the ASEAN Secretariat.

The meeting was co-chaired by the Permanent Representative of Myanmar to ASEAN Aung Myo Myint, and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN Hou Yanqi, and attended by the Permanent Representatives of ASEAN Member States and the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community.

Prior to the ACJCC, the 24th ACJCC Working Group Meeting held on 13 March 2023. AMT updated the progress of the status of the projects under the ASEAN-China Cooperation Fund (ACCF) in Agenda 5: Review of ASEAN-China Cooperation Projects since the 23rd ASEAN-CHINA JCC Meeting. The Meeting noted the information papers from the ACCF Management Team (AMT) on the Status of Projects funded by or seeking funding from the ACCF (ACCF Matrix 1) and the Status of Submission of Project Reports and Return of Unexpended Funds of Projects Funded by the ACCF (ACCF Matrix 2), and the Programmable Balance of the ACCF (ACCF Matrix 3).
