Brief History of Project
• AMS delegates have deeper understanding of Chinese competent authorities in charge of plant quarantine and agricultural products import and export following the latest governmental functions change
• AMS delegates have wider exchange with Chinese counterpart in terms of commonly-found exotic pests, which enables them to have better focus and performance in their following work.
• On-site tours in Nanning and Pingxiang have offered a chance to witness Chinese customs practice in cross-border e-commerce inspection and quarantine, the latest equipment and technologies used in the laboratories.
Project's Achievements / Outcomes
• The participants will have better understandings on the techniques, policy and practice of exotic pests monitoring, prevention and control in China.
• Tangible follow-up actions to be implemented by each participant in increasing trading opportunity of their respective country with Guangxi (if not applicable, with other trade partners.
