JAKARTA, 30 March 2026 – The 27th Meeting of the ASEAN–China Joint Cooperation Committee (ACJCC) was convened today at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat, reaffirming the strong and enduring partnership between ASEAN and China.

The Meeting was co-chaired by H.E. Wang Qing, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to ASEAN, and H.E. Sarah Al Bakri Devadason, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN. It was attended by the Permanent Representatives to ASEAN or their respective representatives, along with their delegations, as well as representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat.

Prior to the Meeting, the 27th ACJCC Working Group Meeting was held on 16 March 2026. During the session on Agenda Item 5: Review of ASEAN–China Cooperation Projects since the 26th ACJCC Meeting, the ACCF Management Team (AMT) provided an update on the progress and status of projects under the ASEAN–China Cooperation Fund (ACCF).
